A link, a link, not a number, youre looking more silly by the second. It wasnt me, oh dear, can see you lasting long on here dearie,
It isnt hard to ask a mod to close the thread, you have to have one hell of a reason for them to grant it. You still havent posted a legitimate link to what you have accused me of..... lol.

Why are you derailing this thread? this person came on here for help.... We are a helpful forum that I hope provides critical yet impartial advice so I would suggest you don't bother posting unless you feel able to stop berating those in need, its not nice.

Obviously it is impossible for anyone to give definitive advice without the full facts of your friend's case. If she believes she is being treated unfairly, however, a first step might be to discuss the matter with her trade union rep if she has one. If she is not a TU member, most large organisations have staff side councils and I understand staff side representatives can provide advice to all employees, regardless of whether they are TU members.

An alternative would be an informal chat to her line manager or someone from HR, just to clarify what is happening with her situation at work.

If she ever intends to take a case against her employer, she will eventually have to submit a formal grievance. Employment tribunals will not normally entertain a case where a formal grievance has not previously been raised.

Hopefully, however, your friend will be able to resolve her situation through the informal channels I've outlined.

This thread made laugh, saintjammy is spot on. I dont think the OP will post again, and if you do you are naive to think people are going to care too much for you. I get the distinct impression a few details have been missed out (maybe not on purpose) and it hasnt come across very well.

Forums are great for knowledge but be factual in your questioning. Some people will give you an opinion even if they have nothing worth saying because thats just how they are.

doesnt take a genuis to bring up a thread link by number, not sure why you denied it?

Thanks SM, It was so long ago I had actually forgotten (hence the denial) about a simple enquiry (becuase I know one of the family personally, but the OP blew it up after trawling through my posts to find a 'dig back' at me cos they didnt like the advice I gave. (This was backed up by another poster)

Thanks for your time, by the way

If you look back, it was the OP that derailed the thread looking for something I did to get back at me. I didnt berate those in need, I posted advice which the OP didnt like.
