I just dont see why you're jumping up and down about it.

There was a complaint, not uncommon.

They did what they had to do.

All calls are recorded in the finance industry. Doesnt matter what she is telling you. It stands to reason, and for the reasons outlined here.

What's it got to do with you anyway. Youre making the bullets for her to fire, stop it.
You need to butt out and presumably your friend is an adult let her deal with it her way and stop stirring it.

I appreciate what everyone has said, by law though a company is not required to record all calls. (this is a fact) The name of the employer is a house hold name in top 20 brands names in the world.

I am a very cynical person myself which is why i am questioning this, i have known her 20 years and she is very softly spoken and honest, the very fact that a complaint was made is suprising indeed.

The way i see is that due to her illness they are trying to force her out of the company by scrutinising her in every way possible. I have suggested she bring it to the attention of HR but this is easier said than done!

But you have only mentioned them scrutinising her in one way possible, and there doesn't appear to be anything actually wrong in that way.

Im sorry, do you have anything useful to contribute or are you a troll?

Judging by your post history it would appear you are an sad old individual who spends all day on these posting just for the sake of it to keep your post count up?

You posted a thread not more than than 10 mins or so after the Spurs Bolton game was abandoned to see if anyone had any further news.. on a moneysaving site? what on earth made you think that anyone on here would have any more infomation than Sky/BBC/Any other major media source.. Or were you just desperate to break the news to people before they heard elsewhere?

Does anyone on here have any friendly advice or shall i just close this thread now?

I'm sorry, but her line being the only one recorded makes no sense.

They are a household name, presumably taking hundreds of payments daily and only 1/6th of calls taking those payments are being recorded? So the remaining 5/6ths of payments are being taken without the company having any evidence should a complaint arise, payment be in dispute, payment made with a stolen card? Do you realise how unlikely that sounds?

Im glad you think that way, so she has a case herself to complain against the company if this is the case?

Ah I see. You only want friendly advice. By that I assume it means advice that you can agree with? McNeff may have put it bluntly, but he has a right to an opinion and it's a valid opinion. She isn't posting here - you are. And it seems to be based on one single, second hand version of a legal thing the company is doing. I cannot see that you have provided a shred of evidence of anyone being forced out - just your opinion that that is what you think. If she genuinely thinks that, then there are options available to her to complain about it. If she won't do that, then what can anyone else do about it?

Woud you like to post a link to this then, I dont know where youve been looking but it certainly wasnt me who posted on the Spurs Bolton game, So now who'se trolling.

You seem to have spent a lot of time trawling through posts that arent mine, thinking that they are. Check it again missus, you are completely wrong on this occasion,:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You'll feel a bit silly I can assure you.

By the way, you cant close a thread. And certainly not because people dont say what you want them to say

Its really not hard to request a mod to close the thread now is it. We are clearly taking up valuable space allowing idiots like you to give a frankly unneccessary opinion. I had heard good things about this forum but it seems a lot of people think they know a lot of which they dont. It is NOT a legal requirement for companies to voice record telephone calls. This is a fact however 'unlikely' you believe it to be.

A link, a link, not a number, youre looking more silly by the second. It wasnt me, oh dear, can see you lasting long on here dearie,
It isnt hard to ask a mod to close the thread, you have to have one hell of a reason for them to grant it. You still havent posted a legitimate link to what you have accused me of..... lol.

You remind me of a couple of people on TV, now who is it, mmmm
Hinge and bracket, no, no. no, Les Dawson and his friend with their turbans, wrap around pinnies and curlers......
Oooh, missus, arms folded under breasts, heave 'em up.]
