Problem with Natwest e-ISA

Hi,
I'm hoping somebody here has had a similar problem or can give me some advice.
At the start of this new tax year I opened a new Natwest e-ISA account. I transferred £2000 in from my Online Banking and it displayed correctly saying I'd deposited £2000 and I could deposit a further £3640 this tax year.
Last week I deposited another £1000, but it then showed as only £1000 deposited this tax year and I could deposit £4640 this year.
Further problems today, as I also filled out a form to transfer last year's ISA account from Santander to Natwest and this has been put through but for some reason on the Online Banking displays that this whole amount (I had £4000) has come out of this year's tax year allowance (Which I'm pretty sure it shouldn't do?) and I now only have £640 to deposit.
I've been passed around department to department on the phone to Natwest and nobody seems to know what the problem is. All they've said is leave it a few days and 'hopefully' it will resolve itself.
Can anyone offer any advice? Their systems seem to be a complete mess and nobody there seems to be able to offer any advice or help!

Can anyone offer any advice?
Is this just an advisory or will this actually top you making deposits?
If it's the former then I would forget it.
If it's the latter then I would email them a formal complaint.0 -
It stops me depositing anything over what it says I have left...
So two main problems..
1) It's not seeing the £2000 as deposited this tax year, even though it was deposited on 11th April.
2) It's seeing my ISA transfer as a deposit for this years allowance, even though I filled out an ISA transfer form..
I guess I'll just have to try the telephone banking again and see if I can get anyone helpful after being passed around 5 or more different people? :mad:0 -
Why not put it on a formal footing?
They cannot pass you round or forget about you then.0 -
I applied for a Natwest e-ISA online. The application appeared to have been processed as it thanked me for my application. Two weeks' later I'd not heard anything or received an email confirmation so I phoned them. They had no record of my application so told me to reapply. I did this yesterday and today decided to follow it up with a phone call. After being transferred six times to different departments I was told it had failed again. Apparently I should have received a reference no. They suggested trying a third time with the help of the Web Chat service. This I did even though I was satisfied there were no errors with my form filling. This time a reference no. and online banking details came up on the screen. Problem when I started to record it (there was no print facility) the chat popped up and closed down the window! I now just have to "pop into the branch" to get my online banking details and hand in the ISA transfer forms. All in all a very time-consuming and stressful experience.0
