  • Just applied for a job with these people off Indeed.co.uk, they were advertising for Customer Service and Recruitment Reps.

They didn't want my CV and wouldn't explain over the phone what the job was, but I was given an interview, you guessed it, at Rani Drive, Nottingham.

I could find no information about these people on the internet but fortunately found this forum.

I called them after reading this and said I would not be attending, they didn't seem surprised but answered the phone, 'HT Services', I asked them to confirm their name and said they were HT Services not HT Solutions, despite them answering the phone HT Solutions on my previous phone call.

You draw your own conclusions, I know what mine is.
  • Hi :j

I had a call from these last week after I posted my CV on Indeed, they said they are an electrical company based in Nottingham but expanding into Derby, I'm sure they said they were HT Services but it may of been HT Solutions. She was very vague on what the company does.

They said they had a whole range of jobs available and invited me to a general interview to decide which vacancy I would suit best. When I asked the salary they said they start from £1,800.00 per month.

After I came off the phone I thought I would go online look up the company, find out about them so it would look good when I turned up with some background knowledge of them. I thought it was odd that there was not a company website.....

After 12 years in my current job I want a new challenge and thought if nothing else it would be good for interview experience.

When I gave the address and telephone number to my fiance today, so he knows where I'm going this Saturday coming, he then sent me the link to this forum....

I was umming and arring whether to go but after seeing this I'm definately not going not even for the interview experience.
  • My partner has just had 2 interviews with this company and was excited after being out of work for 9 years looking after our children full time, He was told to go for 3 days training tomorrow. Over the past 2 days they have been very cagey about what the job actually was and tonight when they phoned between 5-6pm to confirm his job offer they were once again evasive when my partner asked what the job actually entailed and what they hourly rate was, he was told that it was too much to go into over the phone and that he would learn more tomorrow. After reading this thread he will not be going to the training, He is very disappointed and we have spent the last bit of money we had travelling back and forward to Nottingham over the last 2 days. Glad we found out though before he spent even more money haven't got we over the next 3 days going to the same address (unit 5 Rani Drive Nottingham). Really don't know how this company gets away with it, really unfair when people like us having Young children would be reliant on the promised monthly wage for food/rent etc and would be in a desperate situation if like all these people on here did not get paid properly at the end of the month after working so hard. Thank you to everyone for the warning, it has certainly saved us from getting into a worse situation then we are in now. Lets just hope there's a proper job for my partner somewhere in the near future after having his hopes dashed in this way x
  • Is this company still not good to work for? I have an interview on Monday?!

THIS COMPANY AND JOB IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER SCAM. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND FUEL GOING TO ANY INTERVIEWS OR ANYTHING ELSE TO DO WITH THE COMPANY.

HT SERVICING OF RANI DRIVE NOTTINGHAM

If you are contacted by these DO NOT believe a word they say. They are very clever and manipulating scammers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

All the bad comments are true and I've experienced this first hand but was lucky enough to realise that things weren't what they seem.

These people pray on the unemployed and desperate and should be prosecuted.

    DONT FALL FOR THEIR TRICKS.
  • I've just received a phone call for a interview but she said to me it was to ring customers asking if they wanted their workmen to go and check there electrical appliances but she didn't say anything about the rate of pay or if it was commission...but I already have a steady job so would I just be wasting my time going to the interview??
  • Hi,

I have an interview with them in the morning. I thought i'd carefully research them to stand out from the crowd and found this thread. So glad I did now. Sounds like I've had a lucky escape:j
  • I was due to go for an interview Tuesday and after reading this have cancelled am always wary when a company admits to having no website, thanks for info.
  • I've just had a call from this outfit in response to my applying to one of their job ads. As I've been applying for quite a few recently, it didn't ring any bells. The woman on the phone was very cagey about giving specifics, only that there were a number of positions on offer, and I'd be 'evaluated' during my interview. Thankfully on returning home, and googling the phone number, it led me here. Thanks but no thanks HiTech, not even MY sales skills can justify a £2.5k vacuum cleaner.

Just received call from these people and it was all very strange. No website, no real detail and I eventually twigged was a scam. Did a little research which linked to Kirby sales and saw this forum also. In line with everyone else - AVOID!!!
