Can I get my default removed ??

The default was put on due to the credit card companies mistake as it went on after I had paid the settlement figure there for it was not my fault and I did not deserve the default.0

However, you did default (break the agreement).
And the fact that it went to a DCA suggests it wasn't a minor hiccup.
At best the default was removed due to a (perceived) technical error in registering it.
Presumably the late payment and partial settle markers still remain your credit file?
Looks like you got lucky. No doubt they'll get you next time.

That would suggest that rather than asking them to remove the default, you should have asked them to correct the date.0 -
This case did go to the financial ombudsman and they agreed with me that the default should not have been put on hence the default being removed and I also got compensation.0

nope instead you have the missed payments, which will be as badDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
