MoneySpider, that's fab. It's always great when you can really see where the money is going and the difference it's making. Not long now until you can wave goodbye to the overdraft forever.

Congrats natterjack! Well done money spider!

Today I have been angelic, I've been on wembury beach doing the big beach clean up! It's a gorgeous clean beach...until you look closer, 11 full black bags in 2 hrs! I found a huge knife not metres from where children were playing, shoes, lots of fishing nets and a circuit board! Good fun with my little one helping out too and a free m&s lunch :D

Wembury beach brings back so many memories :) I use to go there on holiday each year with my grandparents, loved the rock pools. Also use to go horse riding are the stables still there? We used to stay in the log cabins, loved it. Do you live quite near there Nat?

The stables is now a cafe and toilet! We went rock pooling too, nothing to see today apart from fishing lines :( I'm in Torquay so a good hours drive away, but an easy drive. I'm a regular to bigbury and burgh island so the extra 7 miles is no big deal. I love the church over looking the beach and plan to marry there one day...

Oh no, that's a shame about the riding stables. I remember getting an ice cream at the shop on the way up to the church, that would be a lovely place to get married.
Thanks for the link, even more memories :-)

    £9 pinecone vouchers :D

Work have promoted me and am now earning more money and have a hell of a lot more responsibility! I work 4 days because the nursery cannot have DS for 5 days, thank goodness!

Problem is I am struggling to settle a new routine now!

But I must be grateful I have a job! I know people that I worked with, who were made redundant and 5 years later, are still not working :(

Thought I'd start by making my DS cycle to cubs instead of using the car. Just worked out it saved a disappointing 50p. Ummm I'm going to have to do a lot of cycling make my money that way. Although it helps..... back to the drawing board I think. - DS really enjoyed it though so not a complete loss.

Welldone Aesop - that's fab news about more money :D

With regards to your routine, just don't push yourself or get too focussed on trying to get into a new routine as this can be counteractive if you try too hard, because often the routines that work best are the ones you just sort of fall in to. I know that's harder where kids are involved, but go with the flow for a few weeks and see how you get on, then you'll know what you need to tweak.
