congrats Natterjack :j at least you know all the tricks this time around, look for offers on nappies and wipes, vouchers, etc.
I wish I had known all this the first time round with DS.0 -
Snap Aesop, my boy would wear nothing less than pampers active fit even though I could barely scrape enough together to buy them but this time round my daughter wears nothing more than sainsburys basics! I worked out the difference between wipes and nappies for my son and daughter over a 2 year period and this time round I've saved £600. I don't notice the difference to be honest.£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0

Yep I'll definitely be getting as much as can in the mse way! If I have a boy I don't need to buy any clothes at all, ds was less than 6lb so even got the tiny baby sizes covered. I'll have a home birth to save on the petrol to the hospital and back too :rotfl: (no joke- last time round was an unplanned homebirth and Im kinda glad it was!)
I need to work out how this thing works with the newborn starter packs they have at the asda baby event- will get myself clued up for the next event anyways as its still early days- and oh will throw a hissy fit if he sees more baby stuff already!
Only prob is if I have a girl I can't see me being very mse re buying the clothes- girls clothes are so much nicer (and more of them!) than boys so I could end up going a little crazy there!
I signed up to all the baby clubs last time around so not sure if I can make all the same savings again!£20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j

you can buy lovely baby girls clothes from ebay, nct sales, netmums, etc. so you could be mse, just saving money buying them

Ooops, not been on for a few days, just taken me ages to catch up with the thread!
Got a few little things to add: £6 from my £2 coin saving challenge, 40p (lol) from money saved at the end of last week's budget, and £30.30 Swinton home insurance cashback finally hit my bank account.
Doing fairly well towards a £10 Paypal payout on SB - a few more days I think and I'll be quids inIt downloads to your hard drive, if you look for a foldder called downloads, it is in there. Right click on start button, explorer, open it. Near the top should be a folder called downloads.
Pm what you were looking for and I will look tonight. We are off to ride buses to london and then in london.,i must really love DS.
