I wonder if someone could give me some advice on this.
Not long ago got my son an HTC wildfire s, to cut a long story short the screen is cracked, now you cant answer calls or texts as the touchscreen doesnt work.
I have taken it to a phone shop which charge £40-£45 to fix it. It has insurance on it but the excess for the first claim is £50.
I'm not sure what to do here? is it worth claiming on the insurance. are there any cheaper ways to fix it

order a screen off ebay for £14 and replace it yourself.
