Phone Blocked

Hi Guys
i brought a HTC Wildfire of eBay the other day it had a code on it
i reset the phone back to factory setting and the code went

But it didn't have any signal so i paid and had the ime checked but it came back fine i then contacted 3 which the phone is locked to and asked them if they had blocked it
After going alround the world with talking to different people they said they blocked it but didn't say why so i am now wondering if it is blocked....contacted the seller i brought it form and he's saying its only locked to 3 and will work on other networks
could this be true?
i don't think so myself

I paid £40 for it so not a lot but that's not the point if i can't use it.....all works apart from that.

Doesn't matter what you paid
Was it supposed to be unlocked?
If it's locked to Three no other sim will work (until unlocked)
If it's Blocked by three No sim will work in UK

You can check the IMEI here:

If it has been Blocked by Three you need to contact seller and arrange return and refund for SNAD if sold as working.

No it was suppose to be locked not blocked

Just had a look on that web site you gave me but couldn't understand it...does the IMEI Validity Assessment mean locked if it is green? or is it suppose to be red
i have green with Very likely
Just check 3 phones and all come up the same......green very likely....they are all working.

If the Ebay seller has since reported it stolen to claim on insurance then you'll have no chance to get it unblocked.

The IMEI validity is how likey it is the IMEI belongs to the phone and has not been tampered with, ie is it roughly right for the phone, it should come up with the detaisl of the make and model of the phone .

You need to call three and ask about the Phones IMEI and if they have reported it stolen and blocked it, if it's blocked you need to chase the seller.
