I have a current account with Halifax as well as an Online ISA.

I can transfer from the ISA to the current account and it goes over instantly. So just a pop up to the Supermarket to draw the cash out from the ATM.

If you have an ISA with Halifax and a current account elsewhere there is an option in the ISA account page which says 'make a payment' to xxxx (your account at Barclays say), it uses faster payments and is in there within 2 hours. Simple.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Thank you. That was what I was after. Wonder why we didn't get there earlier though. ;)

No problem Annie. ISA now opened for Dad - just waiting on the username details which I assume they will send to him. Meanwhile I can get the transfer form filled in.
