I have had my orange payg phone stolen which still had some credit on it. If i phone orange and report it are they likely to sned me a new phone or is it just tough? What about the credit on it?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

There's no way you're going to get a new phone out of them unless you have insurance. If you do have insurance, the insurance company will want a crime reference number from the police along with any excess on the policy.
Was the phone/sim registered? I don't know the ins and outs of PAYG but I'd assume that if it's registered to you then they could provide a sim and transfer the remaining credit across to it?
It is still worth reporting as stolen though as then the IMEI will get blacklisted rendering the phone useless (in this country anyway).0 -

Not quite the same but we lost a PAYG mobile, Vodafone happily gave us a new SIM cvard and mvoed the aco!!!! to it with no cost.
Phone you'll have to buy a new one or use an old on in the house it you have it.0 -
If you have on line access to your PAYG account just buy a new phone, or an old one and a new SIM, and there is an option to transfer the account to the new SIM. The old SIM will be killed almost instantly.0
