Halfrauds twin barrel.0

I bought a decent one from a Tesco extra. Does the job. Less than a tenner, I think.0

Aldi or Lidl periodically have twin barrel footpumps for between £3-£5.
I was going to recommend the Michelin one that I have but the rubber hose snapped and you can't buy spares unlike for the cheaper varieties. The man without a signature.0 -
We got one from Wilkinsons for less than £5, pumped my flat tyre up to almost full pressure last week in about 5 minutes (local kids thought it was really funny to let my tyres down after I'd told them off, they didn't find it quite so funny when Mr Plod caught them in the act!)0

get a plug in one, work off the cig lighter, smaller than a foot pump and less tiring.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

As paddedjohn suggests. In fact Tesco have one reduced at the moment. It's just called the Tesco Aircompressor, has a built in pressure gauge and is currently £5.75. Very compact, the box only measure 8in x 6in x 4in.0

Beware if the cheap mini compressors, They usually say run for a maximum of 3 minutes at a time to prevent them overheating.
And the increase the pressure very little in that time. OK for small tyres trailer/bikes etc.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Most footpumps will work OK - one I bought from Halfords over 10 years ago still works perfectly well except for the pressure gauge. 2 years ago I splashed out and bought a fully calibrated pressure gauge and when checking the tyre pressures found that my old footpump was now out by 5psi.0

As I have a few bicycles and motorcycles in the house, I've gone through a few. The cheap ones last me about a year. The Michelin single barrel is doing fine after 2 years. The rubber feet fell off but so far the hose is ok.
Here's a test http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/products/257182/foot_pumps_tested.html0
