New Contract with phone or Sim Only
Hi I was looking for a bit of advice from the masses.
I am looking to get a new mobile phone package and was considering sim only as an option with Three. I currently pay £25.00 per month for 250 mins, 5000 texts and 1gb internet, I know there are cheaper deals out there.
However I was thinking about the benefits of getting a new phone by signing up for a longer contract period with the added benefit of cashback either from the retailer or topcashback etc. My only concern is that one day (sooner rather than later) I am hoping to live abroad either short term or long term.
The big question is, if you take a contract out in the UK on say a 24 month contract and 12 months in you move to another country can you transfer your contract to the same network in the other country. For example T-Mobile UK to T-Mobile USA, Virgin Mobile UK to Virgin Mobile Australia etc etc...............
Any help/advice appreciated.
Thanks

No, you cannot.0

Pay full price for your phone, not SIM-locked, and get a short term SIM-only contract. This will give you more flexibility and peace of mind. With iPhones, this usually works out a lot cheaper anyway.0
