Water turned off, can i still use central heating?

Hi everyone,

A pipe is leaking underneath my kitchen floor, water has been turned off at stop tap. My question is can i still use my gas central heating even though there is no water on? we have a combi boiler.

Thanks.

Yes you'll be able to use your heating providing its not the heating circuit leaking ! in which case it wont work.

Oh good thread! I just turned my water off as the bloody tap was dripping, then I put my heating on as I was cold. Just checked and yes the heating is on. :D
