This is wrong, the guy is on benefit if he's paying this, it's £5 per week for one and divided by how many kids there are..you will be paid £5 per fortnight if shared with another child..

Really? I didn't know that. It seems a pity that the first child should lose out because the father now has a 'new' family.
they do give a reduction for the children in the NRPs household, 15% for 1, 20% for 2....but they also include tax credits as the NRPs income so often they cancel each other out (and you could equally say that the tax credits are for the children in their household - which may not be theirs, so why should that money be taken from them and given to the other child)0
