At what age does the tooth fairy stop coming?

The tooth fairy visited my ten year old this week and left a pound instead of the two that she had always left previously. She asked if it was because of the credit crunch!0

The tooth fairy stops coming as soon as they stop losing teeth. Always left a £2 coin here.0

children areaged 10 & 11, and the tooth fairy still comes and leaves £2 for a tooth. But our tooth fairy takes each tooth and sends it to Nanny who lives in cyprus! basically involves a bit of 'slight-of-hand' magic when we see each other once/twice a year. i secretly hand my mum the tooth wrapped in tissue, the kids ask if the tooth fairy delivered the latest loss, and hey presto, there it is in Nanny's pocket!!:cool:If you want to do something, you will find a way.If you don't, then you will find an excuse...:cool:0

My motto is: If you don't believe, you don't receive!
....that applies to the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and Santa

Tooth Fairy stopped with the last milk tooth and only left 50p per tooth.
My DS2 who is 15 was cleaning his room last week and found a tin of his milk teeth (he'd written a note to TF to ask to keep teeth) he had the audacity to ask me what I did with the teeth the TF took! My answer was 'how would I know, I'm not the TF!'0
