I have more or less finished the assignment :j just need to find one quote and do my referencing, which can all wait until tonight!

I want to put WM on but it's meant to be showery here today so don't think I'll risk it, don't want to have to put the heating on. Nothing is needed til next week anyways.

Off to make some breakfast and then off to town :D

good morning all feeling a little better today and as the sun was out I put a wash on and its clouding over now typical The anti bios are starting to work and my arm is slightly less raw-meat looking and not as hot.I was hoping to go to the 'old english fair'at our local country park with my dgs today but I'm not sure about the weather Will wait another hour I think just in case it chucks it down Its definitely April showers around at the moment Hopefully it will brighten up next week as I'm away next Saturday for a week
Tonight I am visiting my friend who has been a bit poorly and very down (she has had a lot of health and cash problems) and I shall take her the veggie cookbook that Camelot1 kindly sent to me for her Bless her she is an angel, it looks just the ticket, and I'll also take her some goodies to cheer her up.She was always such a strong positive person in the past and its just not like her to be so down .A good bit of laughter is needed to cheer her up a bit, so my other friend and I will cook something up between us to make her smile
I hope you all have a super weekend and the sun shines down on you all
    Cheers chums

    2nd installment.
Hubby's been dropped at work, I've been shopping, bought veg & some faggots, also skirt top & shoes from the CS.
WM is on again, DW unloaded & nearly full again.
Spag bol sauce, jerk chicken & beef curry all bubbling on the hob.
I'm off to do my hanging baskets.
    Hugs Hester

    Morning-sunshine & showers here today.
DH has gone to work this morning, came home pleased last night cos they had finished the job,and was showing me some pics he'd taken when he spotted something not quite right so he's gone back. The customers are thrilled with the job,but he's a perfectionist :D.

No OS for me yet apart from scraping the very last out of the peanut butter jar.DS2 at the gym,DS1 pottering.Unusually both stayed in last night so got a decent sleep without being disturbed in the wee hours.DGD didnt come yesterday, still not well, her Mum says she's never seen so much sick from one small body, bless her(sorry if tmi) so DS2 will pop round and see her when he gets back.He can take the dress I finally finished her.

DH & I off to the match this afternoon.Ex Sis IL is meeting us there. She is having a hysterectomy next week so she prob won't be able to see the rest of the seasons matches, but she'll leave her ticket in case s.o. else can use it.Not sure whats for tea yet,may be a TA Indian as it gets late by the time we get back after footie, and I like the odd night off from cooking.

Glad tru and taplady have got lots of energy :D
Flutterby-well done on those last few words :j

    Hi all

Apologies for waffling on about dog-sitting yesterday - put it down to the fact that I was very tired!:D

We had a lovely meal out last night - Mr LW had a duck dish (can't remember the exact name) and I had Gujerati red pumpkin, which was done with a spicy sauce, and very tasty. Meals out are Mr LW's chance to have meat; he's very good about eating veggie at home (I can't cook meat or fish - makes me feel ill to have to handle it) so I'm pleased he has something he enjoys like that when we go out.:o

Mr LW's gone to Northampton to get 2 new tyres put on the car today - they didn't have Continentals in stock last week, when the service and MoT was done, and he's picky about his tyres, and said to order them in and he'd come back. He's got instructions to come home via the fruit'n'veg market.;)

I think I might make a nut loaf for the freezer later - we're not right out of the last one yet, but there's space, and I think we need a cake making in any case, so it'll make good use of the oven to bake them together.

Omelette on today's meal plan - there's a tomato that's been in the fridge a while that can go in, plus some Quorn bacon-style slices, diced onion and of course cheese, and perhaps some of the basil that's taking over the kitchen window-sill! Ooh - and a good handful of peas, as Mr LW loves peas.

I need to sit down with him and move the meal plan along a bit, too - I think it's only done up to Wednesday; I like to get his input - after all, he's got to eat the food too!:D

    Have a good weekend, everyone.

Ive broken my puppy :( he ran into a barb wire fence on our walk! Right near his eye, OH has cleaned it up and it's missed his eye but it's bloody and ripped lots of fur off, he's not in pain though.

Having veggie sausage Sarnie for lunch and some sofa time before dinner out at 7:30
