    Exactly. They set the rate by their decisions. If it was obvious the Euro was going to weaken, then the "gambling dens" would already have sold Euros and it would already have weakened. Any predictable future events will already be built into the rate.

    Anyone who can predict better than the markets should already be a billionaire.

    most people could if they had the bottle. With stop losses you can still be in profit with only a 33% success rate. ie you can get it wrong most of the time.
    Trouble with most traders is they start to think they are clever and start getting greedy and riskier. Thats when they bomb.

    You seem to forget we`re on the holiday money board not the investing and gambling boards.

    The average family just wants to know whether to get their euros now or in a few weeks/months time.

    Try and get things in proportion.
