Don't even begin to think that there is anything legitimate about this procedure.
You will be battering your head against a stone wall trying to reason with the parking parasite, whose only interest is trying to scam money.
Either ignore it completely- it won't come to anything as they cannot take that to court, so there won't be any bailiffs- or kick off a complaint with your landlord and through him, whatever management company hired these goons, along the lines stated above.
But as Taffy says, just ensure there are no clamping notices. Yes, you will defeat them- a recent poster recovered everything plus some- but it would be a hassle.0 -
What do you mean by clamping notices? There are signs up warning you that they might clamp you, but my cars now parked in my space again with permit securely on display!0
-
But, yet more proof, if any were required, that letting a car park parasite into residential premises will penalise only the residents!
If the place is secure, and accessible only to residents, what on earth are they thinking about letting these cowboys in? Who does anyone think they will be scamming except people who are rightfully there???0 -
The concern here is vehicles getting clamped in a secure car park, if it was me I would buy an angle grinder to cut it off, also when you ignore these invoices they will try the clamping route for past alleged debts, it's of course illegal but no use when the vehicle is clamped. You need to nip this in the bud now.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Yes, if they trespass onto what is effectively YOUR property to clamp you are fully within your rights to use such force as is required to remove it. If it is damaged as a result- tough.0
-
They're a piece of !!!! to get off without cutting the chain anyway. Wheel off, unbolt the lower ball joint and it will come away - if you've the means to cut the chain then you've probably got the tools and knowhow to do it the non-destructive way too

Destructive makes the point better if they've applied it unlawfully, though! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm useless at mechanics I would probably end up totally destroying it.0 -
What exactly does all the crap mean on the back of these tickets? What exactly does lawful issue mean with regards to the Justice Act 1970?
The other thing that's quite laughable is one of the check boxes on the ticket suggests that they might fine you for having no tax. Now they definitely have no right to do that!0 -
Do they actually use the word fine on the ticket ? And you are right they have no lawful right to issue one for no tax, they are not the council or police, just useless scammers!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors.
