Anybody else had trouble obtaining prizes from Look Magazine?

I won £500 worth of jewellery vouchers with Look Magazine on 4th February and was told to expect delivery within 28 days. I have chased them several times since then and although a nice lady said she would look into it for me, on our last communication she said they she was having trouble contacting the promoter and I have heard nothing since. That was on Monday. To be honest I'm getting a bit fed up with being fobbed off.

Has anybody else had trouble with obtaining prizes through Look Magazine, and has anybody got any advice as to what I should do next?

I'm loathe to let it go, as it's a great prize and I was looking forward to some new jewellery!

That's a long time to wait, I don't blame you for being cross. I have won with Look and had no problems getting the prize, but it sounds like this is a problem with the promoter rather than Look, although it's still down to them to sort it out. Hope you get something sorted soon.

Yes I had the exact same problem from a comp back in June last year, the same excuses of blaming the promoters or the people supplying the prize. They are notorious for this and lying about prizes being sent and lost. The IPM have alot of complaints about Look magazine and I believe they had to pull competitions at one point due to the backlog of complaints, and if your dealing with a girl called Sam then I would suggest to go straight to the IPM, she is known for lying about replacement prizes being sent etc.

What I did was contact the IPM it took several months to be investigated, and then I emailed them giving them 7 days to send me my prize or a suitable alternative. Eventually we got there 10 months after winning. I don't enter their comps anymore, it's not worth chasing them and the stress of it all.

are they ran by the same people that run MORE! magazine because I had hell of a job getting a prize from them and it was a lady called Samantha dealing with that. In the end the IPM chased them up and I got my prize and another lot of goodies too but it was a real pain in the neck!

I waited a while to get £300 of beauty products but eventually got them after a few e.mails. Am waiting for DVD's from Whats on TV now and am getting fobbed off but will persevere. I agree they should not offer these prizes if not willing to deliver.

I've never had a problem with Look Magazine, received £100 Theatre Vouchers the morning after I'd won them & I received my £1k River Island vouchers within a week. Fingers crossed you get your prize soon xxx

I am waiting for £150 Next vouchers I won from Look. It has just passed 28 days waiting time and I fired off an email yesterday informing them of the non delivery of the prize.

I will see if they reply on Monday and will update, but obviously they do not seem to be that on the ball by the looks of things.

They do have a facebook page so maybe if you have waited quite a while that might be a good way of giving them the hurry up, if you know what I mean.

I have won recently with 2 magazines in this group. One of them sent the prize after I chased it once and the other sent part of the prize but not the remainder despite constant emails and reasuurances that it will be sent.

I won £100 Primark Card from Look and it has arrived in reasonable time.
