Cheshire BS Cash ISA 2012/13

Hey, new poster here. On Martin's recommendation I opened a Cheshire BS cash ISA on 1st April - sent off all the paperwork and the deposit (via cheque) has left my account. I haven't received anything from the Cheshire via email or post - has anyone else had the same experience? There might be a backlog but it's disconcerting to say the least!

2. Have you phoned Cheshire to find out what's happening?

Thanks for the exceedingly friendly welcome.

If ou re-read my post you'll see that at no point do I make out that it's Martin's fault.

Secondly, the point of my post was to see whether others (I have no doubt that there will be lots) who have signed up for this ISA have experienced the same issue.

However, I can see that new users are not welcome on these forums so my sincere apologies for having troubled you, le loup.

I found them very efficient.

Applied online on 8th April (Easter Sunday)
Email on 9th April confirming application.
Email and text message on 12th April confirming account now open.
Account information received by post on 19th April.

My suggestion was that you contacted them, have you phoned yet? That's the only way you are going to find out anything and stop being disconcerted.

Welcome to the forum.

5th April: I applied for a Cheshire 18 month fixed rate 2012/2013 ISA. Received email and text confirmation on the same day.
10th April: Posted on the application form and cheque.
13th April: received email and text to say account was open
16th April (approx) recieved investment certificate to say ISA had been opened on 11th April.
17th April: my cheque was cashed

I rang them up on 13th April (through impatience on my part) before getting the email and got through very quickly and they were able to tell me my application had been received etc etc.

So very smooth opening.

Suggest you ring them to ask where your application has got to. They should be able to help you.

Applied for Isa on-line on 9th April, received confirmation and ref no. immediately
Sent cheque on 10th
Got e-mail confirmation on 13th of account opening

Documentation arrived the other day and ISA was actually up and running from 11th.
