Just a heads up for anyone else that receives this 'Technical error letter'

I transferred my Barclays ISA to Santander and received a letter dated 22nd March informing me that the funds had been received by them.

I logged into Santander to confirm the ISA was showing - it was.

Today, I received a letter from them dated 18th April.
Dear Mrs Whoever

I refer to previous correspondence relating to the transfer of your ISA to our management.

Unfortunately we have still not received your funds from your previous provider. We have contacted your provider again today to chase these funds.

Please not that we we will contact you again upon completion of your request.

If you have any questions then please give us a call on the above number.

I was told to ignore the letter as it was a 'technical error' and that quite of few of these letters have been raised in error.

Edit: My husband received a letter from them too.
He hasn't bothered ringing them, as he logged in to his account and the ISA was still showing ok.

It's not just Santander doing this. I transferred an M&S Money ISA to the WestBrom last November. Funds appeared online after a week or so. I got a letter in January from the WestBrom saying the funds hadn't been received and they were trying again. Another letter in March to the same effect. I phoned them up and eventually wrung a confession out of them that they'd actually applied for the funds from M&S Money twice. We had a bit of a laugh about it on the lines that it would have been nice if it had worked.
I've just transferred the WestBrom ISA to Santander. I might be tempting fate there although maybe the WestBrom will send it twice...
