been with tesco broadband & phone we our in a well built up area and my broadband speed they say should be a min of 5mb but mine is 0.2 been on phone for 45 mins for them to say they will pass to back office for them to investagate and some one will be in touch within 72 hrs yep ok when asked about refund of payments i have to phone up again and wait and wait till i get through again and ask customer services to sought it out as these are the rules he said right ok but if you are looking to switch please avoid tesco
So you're with tesco and even the tesco staff told you to avoid tesco?
How long have you been with them?
It sounds as if you have been given the runaround with them.
Are you within the time when you can get a refund.
Is the phone helpline a free number or is it one of those 0845/0844 numbers?
If I remember rightly I think it says how to go about it in the t+c's
0.2mbps is terrible, they shouldnt be allowed to get away with it, the way they word their adds makes lots of people think they are going to get a faster speed, me included.
Getting help on here was the thing that sorted my confusion out.
