In Sainsburys Irvine yesterday, 'my bargain of this year'. JS Women's Supplements Box of 30 for £1.00, I normally pay £8.99 a box for these. The added bonus being they were on 3 for 2.

Picked up 6 boxes for £4.00, a saving of £50.00.

BB date was 03/14, so no problem there. These are the one's that contain Starflower, Evening Primrose and the Vitamins. So a good mix for 'WOMEN OF A CERTAIN AGE' like me.:T

    HTH.

  • popped to Sainsbury's today and spotted 2 pack 20cm and 28cm frying pans, non stick was £25 now £7.50! thats £17.50 off. Saw lots of other things heavily discounted too
  • I bagged some Tresemme 24 hour body sculpting spray gel at Sainsbury's for 50p as it was on clearance. I can't remember how much it was originally but Tresemme is not cheap so this is a bargain

Picked up 2 packs of 'Come dine with me' invitations marked down to 29p on the reduced/clearance shelf, but they scanned at 1p per pack.
  • Shopped in the Braehead store yesterday, as was in that area. Certainly not so many bargains to be had, but picked up the following items:

    A Digital Thermometer for 95p
Menopause Care Tablets X 30 down to £1.07p per box, dated 03/14 so must be discontinuing.
Glucosomine Sulphate Tablets X 30 down to 96p per pack. Again on a long date.

Together with last weeks vitamin binge, I now have enough for 12 months at the cost 1 months supply.

    Spotted today
    Clearasil Ultra Overnight Wash 5p
Nads natural hair removal facial wand 5p
    Nads ingrow solution 5p
  • Simple vital vitamin day cream and simple vital vitamin night cream both 50ml in sainsbury's 2 for £4 across simple skin care offer. Normally £5.70 each but they're part of the offer so its cheaper to get 2. Ends 13/11
  • Noticed these on the stationery display in my local Sainsbury's - packs of 8 Crayola crayons for only 25p each. Same as these ones. The shelf tag says something about Rice Krispies, so I guess they must be left over from a promo or something.

I bought a stack of them to use as stocking/party bag fillers :)

So I bought a 160g tub of Cadbury Philadelphia today at half price - 82p. Got home, went to eat some and found a 50p off voucher inside. I'll hopefully be picking up some more packs at 32p each if the smaller Sainsbury's near me stocks them.

The date on the tub I brought home was February or march next year so no issues if you want to stock up!

So that's 82p for your first pack then 32p for each subsequent pack.
  • Hello

In my local Sainsburys this week they were selling off L'Oreal Excel 10 for £2.05 a box and Schwarzkopt Salon Live for something like £1.50 a box. Think it was quite a few colours (the display was almost empty when I got to it but lots of SELs) so perhaps the ranges are being discontinued. I picked up 2 L'Oreal ones as they were closest to the shade I use, I've no idea whether they're any good though!
    Slummy mummy!
