I've heard that Three now do their down 'home signal' box but I can't see anywhere of how to request one?!

Has anyone on here managed to get one and if so, how?

Any help / info would be appreciated.

Yes, I have one and my parents have one. You call 333 and complain about having crap signal indoors then they pass your details to the network team who call you back.

When they call back they ask similar questions, check to see what the towers in your area are like then look at your contract to see how much you spend/how long left.

If you meet the criteria they then send you a box that routes all calls and data via your Internet and acts as a local hotspot so you get full signal in your house.

All you do is plug it in, wait for it to register and off you go. They can register some numbers over the phone when they sent it out or you fill in a form and enter the details online.

AFAIK Three will only give this out on standard monthly contracts, NOT on sim-only plans.

Yes, you need to be on a non-SIM only contract.

I've got one and it seems to be very good. Couldn't get a signal downstairs before and now I get a strong signal

I pushed 3 for this to CEO's email last year on the grounds UK 3G runs on 2100mhz and indoor coverage suffers, I gave him a whole report & examples on it & UMA about 9 months ago and offloading at home would save 3 alot of cash & coverage = happy customers - glad he listened !!! Too late to save me though, well apart from my occassional payg Flat12 use that is LOL

Still not as good as my Orange UMA/Signal Boost with calls to 30 landlines & mobiles included to a few countries ;) But a signal is a SIGNAL ! lol
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

When I went into the a local three store and queried the network coverage near my home. I was informed if I did take out two 12month sim only contracts and there was a coverage issue then if I called Three customer services and reported it I would be sent a Home signal box FOC.

After several calls to Three with promised call backs which never happened I finally managed to get to the correct department. I was informed that the Home signal box was not free and £50 charged would be made. Despite of my protest they would not budge even thou their own coverage map showed that indoor and outdoor service was good.

Incredible they preferred to cancel my Two x 12 month sim contracts & One x Phone contract than send a box out for free.
