Hi Lolly the Window's firewall only checks incoming internet traffic and it allows processes/programs - good and bad to go out on the internet and pull info/files back onto your pc.

The firewall recommended will check programs in/outbound and stop your pc becoming a zombie bot or spam engine etc...

And it is never too late to turn blonde

Success!! Icon in system tray, and windows firewall switched off (can i be sire that is nor longer running by just doing that)
Also, when you click on the icon there is rather a lot of info, also that it expires in 29 days, how do you continue to use this program for free at the end please?
Should i need to check any of the firewall info in the system tray icon at all.
Or should i leave well alone and come back of i encounter further probs...LOL!!
That could be tomorrow then.;) ;)
    Thanks Guys,
    Lorraine
