Possibly. The removal tool gets rid of ALL traces of the program. If not used, odd bits are left lurking around your PC which might interfere with the operation of a replacement product.How do I add a signature?0

You don't need to know. All of those links are to show you how to find/record your Norton Product Key in case you wish to reinstall it.
