Hi
I have sold 2 things on ebay for collection only, they have paid for the item with paypal and I have emailed them both stating that the items were for collection only but didn't get a reply.
I went on live chat to ebay and they didn't really answer my question of what should I do.
Tonight I have had reply from one of the buyers asking me when am I posting the item and when I have looked he lives in Russia.
Any advice welcome
cheers

refund buyer in russia and the other buyer and tell them both was collection only cash on collection
if they pay via paypal and collect yo have no protection0 -
OH MY GOD. I take it the item is bulky or difficult to send so you can't change your mind? If so you are going to just have to tell them straight, and you are going to have to relist or "second chance offer".Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. You are not allowed to require cash. You must accept paypal even for collections.0

Personally I offer a courier option on items that would require collecting, if they insist on paying by Paypal I insist on them having a courier. No one has ever insisted that they pay by Paypal and collect..0 -
That's not strictly correct, Ebay require to offer Paypal as a payment option, technically this means you can't specifically say "cash on collection only" but you can have cash as a payment option for anyone collecting.

Wrong im afraid:

Op I hope the items weren't expensive as trying to for cash on collection is always a gamble and if you end up refunding and not selling you still have to pay FVFs,
However for the Russian one all you can do is try sending a mutual cancellation.

Scroll Lock was really usefull in DOS, if you brought up a directory listing, it would pause after listing one screen of information, similar to using the pipe |moreWarning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. You are free to offer an alternative of cash on collection.
By offering both options, you are not refusing to accept paypal, but insisting that items paid for by paypal cannot be collected."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.

I have had listings removed for stating cash only on collection, so eBay apparently dont agree.
Of course no one sane that understands how PrayPal works is going to accept it for a valuable collection, but it is not permitted officially or to state it on a listing.0
