Don't forget your hands! I have always hidden under a hat or a sunshade to read in the sun, but now realise that my hands were exposed and show it!

  • Eye cream. Even if you don't do anything else, invest in some eye cream/gel. I used Body Shop Elderflower Eye Gel when I was in my twenties and it has really paid off, I've very few lines around my eyes (37 now). Don't smoke or sunbathe either, which has helped.

Neutrogena handcream as well. Take special care of eye area, neck area and hands - that's where ageing shows. Having said that, I've used both cheaper and more expensive skincare and I wouldn't go mad splurging on very expensive skincare at your age. Just a basic moisturiser with SPF would be great. I also found Superdrug Vitamin E facewash and eye cream to be excellent and good value.

I used cheapo Nivea oil free moisturiser when I was skint and my face is fine, no facial lines at all.
  • Great information on how to look young even when you are getting older. This post has been personally been very useful for me. I think that it will also help a lot of women who want to look younger.

I think sleeping with the makeup on, would really help for some people. Even going under the sun is beneficial. The problem with the moisturizer is that they are very oily and dull. It's good to find some vitamin anti aging creams.

I read somewhere that, for every night you leave your make-up on, you age 8 days..not sure if there's any truth in that, but I've never forgotten in.

Don't suppose anybody has a link to the article? Sounds interesting.
