1st day of Vodafone contract - Emergency Calls only?
Hi,
Just recvd my new contract phone mobile - on Vodafone, charged it up and put in the SIM.
It displyed 'Vodafone' for a few mins - then went into 'Emergency Calls Only' mode.
Is that normal for Vodafone - how long can that last?
Or do I need to contact someone to 'activate Sim'??

sounds like a signal strength issue - you had V before where you are ??......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
try ringing voda, could be a simple issue with your account or something that needs to be looked into more deeply, if you raise the issue now it will save alot if frustration if it continues, after all, they can`t fix a problem there not aware off0
