    The problem with these phones is, if you have any apps that auto-update, once you switch data on, as you said you did, all those waiting apps will start downloading. That may explain the situations the CSR mentioned that you used large amounts of data over a couple of days. If they have date/time and amount used, believe me, then it was used. It's just that you did not notice it. I'd suggest you plead to them and see if they can knock off 50% of the charges.

    Not true. The data counters, both in my case (see above) and the OP's case, prove that the data was not used. Orange clearly have an error in their billing system, given the many other occasions that people come on this forum with the same issue - always concerning Orange.

    Tell me about it! I have a 15 sim only deal at the mo which includes data, texts and call allowances. My bill should be £15/month as long as I stay in those limits. My bill shows no extra useage yet this month I am being charged £31.30. Bloody Orange don't know their a¥$e from their elbow!
