views on BM 5 year inflation rate ISA 4.3% or RPI whichever higher

I just noticed on another thread someone saying they thought this Birmingham Midshire ISA should be on the top ISA table.

Can I ask if it's a good punt or better sticking with the Halifax 4.5% for 5 years?

The 5 year inflation rate ISA (issue 3) is a 5 year deposit based cash ISA, which uses the annual rate of inflation (as determined by the Retail Prices Index (RPI) Annual Inflation Rate measure) to determine the annual tax free interest rate on your savings. Each year you will receive either the RPI Annual Inflation Rate or a fixed rate of 4.30% tax free/AER, whichever is greater. Interest will be paid each year on the anniversary of the start date of the account.

Sounds attractive to me, especially now that hopes of a new issue of ILSCs have been dashed.
