    Hypothetically, it depends on the T&C on the account. It's unlikely to distinguish different sorts of money within one account, depending on its source - hard to implement that sort of scheme (esp. if you then start withdrawing - which pot is withdrawn first ?). It could be organised to pay different rates on different tiers, or any weird scheme it chooses to implement.

    In practice, the single rate is most likely to apply to the entire balance.
