Never heard anything so ridiculous in my life !!! Signed the petition . I was just about to sort out some Tots Bots (that both my sons have used & they are still in good condition) to sell on ebay . May have to find somewhere else to advertize them now .

The nappy lady website http://www.thenappylady.co.uk/ has a place where you can sell used nappies.....dont have this stupid ebay rule, almost certain that its free to list your items on,,,, you could also try http://www.baby-greenhouse.co.uk/ as they have a forsale board, some of the other parenting sites have a forsale board as well but dont really know these so cant say what they are like

Presumably they only remove listings if someone reports them as there are still loads being sold without being removed.

signed by me too. if they are banging on about people selling stuff as fetish wear, how come everything rubber, or all shoes, or anything else (those were first two that sprang to mind) aren't banned too. completely ridiculous. you could say anything is a fetish. i used to know someone who was partial to talcum powder to a bizarre extent, hardly worth banning for.

This is ebay's response given to those who have had listings removed (taken from another forum I frequent)

I can understand your confusion about why childrens' nappies would be
removed under our Adult Materials policy. Your items were ended for the
specific reason of being used nappies. Now, while I believe that you are
not selling these items as though they are a type of fetish material, we
do have members on our site who try to sell their used undergarments in
such a fashion. As such, we have decided to put our Used Undergarments
policy under the Adult Material policy.

sorry, am i naive or what -
are these people buying used nappies to wear themselves ?

how would they fit into them?sorry not meaning to be crude, it's a genuine question.

i sold our reusable nappies on ebay only a few months ago so this is a new thing they have come up with. they are changing so much on ebay and i dont like it.

All signed - it is utterly ridiculous.

You can sell second hand nappies on UKparentsLounge (http://www.ukparentslounge.co.uk/) , for the person that was asking :o

If you go to the forums and select 'buy and sell - cloth nappies'
