Opinions please - would a new porch add value or not?!

Thanks for your replies - I think if I was going to live in it I would like a porch, an enclosed one with walls & door, to store coats, boots etc. We are about to fit a new front door anyway (plus kitchen, bathroom, carpets...) so maybe a porch is not necessary. The front door leads to a hallway, not straight into the front room. You're right, it might make the house more desirable but not more valuable - thanks for the opinions.0

I think it depends how much it will cost to do it, if you can do very cheap then it might just add that extra kerb appeal to get viewers in. I would agree with others really that it is not the most obvious addition to add value but sometimes you can do some little extras for a small cost which may make all the difference.0
