Oasis/Livingsocial

Options
I had planned to ask advice today as to what to do next to obtain the refund I felt entitled to. Today they FINALLY gave in and just gave it to me (only a tenner but really became a matter of principle) to shut me up as I couldn't be silenced and threatenned to contact Trading Standards.

So I am celebrating my £9.33 success but at the same time DEAR LORD what a lot of effort that took!

Basically:
I had a Livingsocial £25 Oasis voucher which stated in the fine print it was not valid on sale items.
I bought a full price dress I knew I wanted, then foolishly added a sale item (£25) to try on the basis the voucher didnt apply to it so I could return it if unsuitable
It didnt fit, but the voucher had automatically been spread over both items. The girls in store understood but couldnt give full refund there (only £15.67), said to just send it to CS and they'd sort it for me.
I email CS explaining
I get a reply telling me to send to CS and to resolve the problem
I do, along with another explanatory letter and a copy of the livingsocial voucher with the part about sale items not valid highlighted, and eventually get response simply saying they are processing my £15.67 refund
I am furious, explain the situation again and ask for a response based on what I have said rather than pasted standard responses
They tell me I used a voucher so don't get full discount
I tell them voucher wasn't valid on this item and I'd contact Livingsocial.
I email Livingsocial and Aurora head office (who own Oasis). Neither reply.
Oasis say that they appreciate my feedback and hope that I will remain a customer.
I say that's unlikely now, point out that still noone has acknowledged that the voucher should not have been applied to the sales item, and ask why they made me send it off to CS if I was only ever to get the same refund I could have had in the store originally? Then say I will contact trading standards.
They give in! And give full refund 'on this occasion'.

It has been somewhat similar to banging my head against a brick wall, talking to a team who just look at the account on their screen and work off a template of responses rather than reading anything I said. But the moral of the story is, eventually, if you are annoying enough, they refund you!
