Just spotted the latest cashback increase on www.quidco.com
"We are very happy to announce that Prudential Insurance have risen to the top of the car insurance cashback pile by raising their Quidco cashback to £130. Prudential Car Insurance is by far the most popular choice for Quidco members and with the market leading £130 this is great news for the Quidco community.
We’ve had Prudential Insurance on Quidco for almost 8 months now and we’re happy to see them add to their already immensely popular cashback with a big £130 cashback!
Also take a look at their Home Insurance which has risen to £85 cashback."
I'm actually looking forward to renewing my car insurance when it's due!

Just taken this out and as an added bonus the Prudential quote was better than my renewal and cheaper than all other quotes on Quidco or confused.com
just waiting for my £130 to track - after deducting the quidco cash back my car insurance costs £59 - result
Thanks for posting this jo_bThanks to everyone who posts comps :T0 -
I saw the quidco increase last night so thought I would do a quote...Pru was about double my current cheapest quote! With the cashback it still wasn't cheaper

Still, it was definitely worth a shot and I am sure Pru will be cheap for some people.0 -
I signed up via quidco last week when it was £100 cashback. Oh well, still the cheapest quote I could find so can't really complain

Please could someone explain just how Quidco works. I am really interested in taking up the offer for Prudential Car insurance £130 cash back! It sounds just too good to be true:rolleyes: I have just joined Quidco and went though the link on Quidco to Prudential, the quote was for £190 what happens, do I pay this and then claim the cashback from Quidco? how will I know if I am going to get the cashback

Sorry to sound so dumb but this offer is just tooo tempting.
Thank you. When man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0 -
Had a massive stroke of luck whilst holding a quote for car insurance.
Returned to Quidco to see £130 cashback so opened quote to purchase.
I got a years insurance for £147 , Quidco is tracking £130 , so happy days are here again.
Can anyone beat £17 for 1 years insurance? :j0 -

Hi
No you dont need to claim it.
You need to (in one transaction) - clear your cookies first, go to prudential from quidco site, get the quote then accept and buy.
It should then "track" - if it does then you should get paid by prudential bia quidco for the policy.
You can check by clicking on "my earnings" if it has tracked0 -
Thank you Gassa for the info. just one more question please, I have read on Quidco about having cookies and Java enabled.......... I have downloaded Firefox to be used for this site only, but does it mean I must disable ALL Adaware and antispy programmes? if so, for how long? Thanks again:oWhen man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0

I never disable any programmes and all transactions have tracked (since i started deleting cookies). Others say they have problems if they done. For this amount of money it may be wise to do so then to be on the safe side!
Dont forget to get your contents and buildings insurance here too!!!0 -
Just a word of warning. Prudential are awful for enquiries if your transaction doesnt track. I have a car insurance Quidco cashback enquiry outstanding from June last year and a home insurance policy TCB enquiry outstanding from November 2006.0
