samsung plasma colour settings

Hi,i have a Samsung ps42a416c1d plasma. Until recently it was hooked upto Sky and it was all ok. We have now moved it to Spain and it is on Smart Enigma digital receiver, but the colours are awful. If i want to watch football the players are so bright you can hardly watch it,the same goes for people in programmes. I have tried changing the settings on the menu but i cant get rid of the brightness. The funny thing is if i watch the digital channel to see any local programmes the colour is excellent. Any ideas please. Thank you.

Hmm, somewhere in the Samsung OR the set top box settings. Have you tried that set top box on another TV? How does it look? If the Samsung's OK with other inputs, I'd suspect it's the STB at fault. Is it PAL or can it be set to a PAL RGB output over SCART? That's the first place I'd try. Also make sure the Samsung isn't on the Dynamic setting, or in 'shop mode'...0
