    I am not very patient and did try it that way but gave up. So will wait to see if you can find me a simpler way. Thanks

    If I don't succeed by the morning, I'll just send you the disc; as I'm travelling tomorrow.

    Am I correct in assuming that the SP2 install file won't run (to extract the files needed for the iso) on a machine running anything other than Vista?
    How do I add a signature?

    I don't know, the link was to the SP1 disc.

    Best to use the SP2 DVD in the first place.

    I just realised were I was going wrong. I d/l the files to create an SP1 iso, and at the same time d/l the SP2 exe file, then tried to launch the SP2 file to create the SP1 iso :doh:
    How do I add a signature?
