Delta/KLM vs BA/Virgin from Heathrow to Boston – ADVICE PLEASE!!!

I thought all transatlantic flights had free bars at least for beer and wine
That's true (as far as I know) on European carriers but not on all US ones.
However... I just found this:

and http://aa.mediaroom.com/index.php?s=43&item=3434
So free beer and wine is back - but you still have to pay for spirits, so if you want that G&T you'll have to fly BA or Virgin.0 -

Remember that KLM is a European carrier as well. Just be careful that your KLM tickets are for flights operated by them, rather than Delta. In the same way you have to be careful that your BA tickets will not be for flights operated by AA.0
