Urban 75 (forum)

Well, I've gone onto a number of forums, sometimes with the same query etc and most have been very polite and helpful.

However, I recently accessed Urban 75 forum through a recommendation and I must say I've never met such foul, vile language and defensive attitudes.

I have to say that I found those on the site not only extremely offensive, but rude, clicky and they not only made me feel awful about myself but but were full of posters who where just angry, rude and basically hadn't a chance in hell to be in a position to help me.

I though I'd let you know so that you don't go there, it's a very dark place with really damaged souls.

But I have decided to report them and / or expose them as the people on there made me feel just awful.

They are bringing the country down to a standard that we don't need. They are full of vitriol and very nasty to new members.

So please Stay Away from Forum 75.

Never heard of the forum before now. Best to keep away and do as you did, report them,sounds terrible

That's some logic fail there.

ITS a political forum for young people. full of activists and i like it because it is cutting edge..
If you do not like any forum do not go there but there is some great help to be had from some very good people on it.

People are angry with whats going on with this government but no need to be nasty to you..It has a good name for people struggling with the new disabled benefit laws.

Words on a screen... that's the thing to remember

People write them without thinking that there is a real person sat behind another screen somewhere, equally, that's all they are, words on a screen from someone who doesn't know you apart from your words on a screen.

I had never heard of this forum before you posted about it. Now, you have brought it to my attention I'm more likely to Google it to see what it is.

The government had the same problem when they introduced film censorship. A bunch of (mostly) rubbish films that most people had never heard of suddenly became highly sought after by significant numbers of people because of the VRA.

The truth is, if something offends you, ignore it and move on. You'll find it far more effective than trying to dissuade others from viewing it.

Surely, the name itself 'Urban 75' gives perhaps an idea that it might be a different type of forum. By saying don't go there you are preciously making people curious !
I really can't understand why you would want to advertise Urban 75 forum, especially since you suggest it is unpleasant.
Where is the logic?
They vast majority don't all come here to mention the sites we come across by accident and wish we'd never seen!

I should get paid!!

It's an awful site and that's what I'm trying to get across.

But you know, I've just decided to give up on the whole plan, I can't be bothered and there will always be people like that and sites like that so hey ho!! Light bulb moment - Just wanna get on with my life and feed the cats, myself and read a story on my kindle.

I just felt I wanted revenge, they upset me, but hey ho they can go to hell!!

No it's a great site populated by lots of brilliant, supportive people, many of whom actually know each other from meeting on the site and firky. It's just a site with it's own ethos, like most sites, and you will either fit in or not. You obviously didn't. Get over it.
