Only advice is don't buy if you are not 100% sure. I am someone who probably wouldn't know if goods were fake or not but only buy from those I consider to be reputable retailers ie direct or from an established retail outlet (eg Amazon or Debenhams) as I feel they have too much to lose to sell dodgy products.

How did you know the Benefit items were fake?

I watched a programme about fake goods in the uk and noticed a benefit box. I got paranoid when I heard that fakes were rife on ebay, so got out my Lemon Aid eye makeup and saw straight away that the printed logo wasnt very good and parts of it overlapped. I also supersized images of the real prodcut on the internet and thats how I could tell. I also have suspicions about my dandelion blusher but cant tell for sure. I dont use either of them any more just incase. I just want to try a sample size of thie foot cream but am so worried it will be fake

I'm always really careful when buying cosmetics online, as fake products are so common. Although you'll probably never be able to be 100% sure, it's a good idea to see what the seller has been selling. So, if this is their only sale of Burts' products, then it's probably genuine, as they just wanted to make a sale on ebay of a product they didn't need. If they make a habit of selling such items, I'd assume they're fake, as this is their business. Hope that makes sense!

Lol! I dont want to make you paranoid aswell. Im just awful if I get an idea in my head about something and then it worries me forever. I buy on ebay all the time but do admit that I never buy foodstuffs and rarely cosmetics stuff now. I cant for the life of me remember what the programme was called now it was a couple of months ago, but it had me checking all my ebay cosmetic purchases afterwards. I also buy philosophy on there but I always use the same seller and am convinced they are legit (or at least, thats what I tell myself ).

Yes, it does make sense. I see exactly what you are saying. This seller sells lots of bbees. I think Im going to ber a tips to toes set tomorrow at Bluewater and stay safe...

I'm packing lots of my tester size bits into my hospital bag as my due date is tomorrow. Can i just ask if anyone has used the rosemary and mint shampoo bar? Is it soap? Or is it supposed to be used on hair? No guidance on the packaging. Thanks.
