o2 with blackberry 2 year contract

I am very confused, i have just recieved an email telling me about changes on o2.

I have Online BlackBerry Bonus 25 24m
24 month contract with free blackberry pearl
this includes
500 minutes to call any standard UK mobile or standard UK landline (starting 01, 02, 03)
Unlimited UK text messages
Unlimited O2 to O2 calls. These calls are outside your call allowance
Bolt On for BlackBerry - 500MB data + unlimted public Wi-Fi through The Cloud

for £25.53 per month

I was told that I would be due for an upgrade phone at two years and that nothing would change, price, mins, texts, etc
unless I wanted it to, contract price & entitlments would remain the same

My contract does not run out for a few months, but i have started to look at new phones, because the screen is to small for me to surf web & phone keys are getting stuck.

so....the question is, are o2 still honouring such deals, I am a bit confused, I see people wanting different deals and 'posher' phones and having to pay more, but I just need a new phone with a bigger screen, not really interested in Iphone or the latest phone.

You can upgrade once two years are over. The O2 will have some phones for free with others you will need to pay extra. The phones such as iPhone, some Samsung and blackberry modes are unlikely to be free.

I am on exactly the same tarriff as you are, with exactly the same stuff you get. I got the same email today.

I think you should be able to upgrade your phone 1 month early.

They shouldn't change your tarriff unless you ask them to.

    I got this one too.

I won't be renewing with o2 though. I have the date marked that I can get my PAC code and then I'm off .

I think you do, however you should confirm with them when you upgrade.

When you upgrade your phone, the provious contract would have ended and you will be agreeing to a new contract. Make sure you ask.
