Sorry to hear about Grandma Lucky. Hope she is soon back on her feet!
Yes, get yourself that appt. booked today. And start taking a bit more time for you...you're spreading yourself so thinly all the time keeping so many balls in the air, it's no wonder you don't feel that good. Big hugs!! xx

Thanks everyone!
Didn't get round to making an appointment today. Every time I thought about it I was driving and then forgot when we stopped. Will do it tomorrow.
Today was DS2's first proper full day at school. DH & I went to the gym this morning and then I gave in and took him to Primarni to get a flippin dinosaur onesie . He saw it when we went shopping on my birthday and I refused to buy it for him. It was £12 and he only wanted it to make the boys laugh. I felt really peeved that MiL had paid for my birthday present because I'd deemed myself unimportant enough to waste money on, and then the same day he wanted us to spend money on him. To be honest we had a bit of a fall out over it and it made me feel quite down. However, he has harped on and on about it like a child and I was fed up of hearing about it. The boys both have onesies so I told him we would get it as long as he wore it instead of us putting the heating on wherever possible. Hopefully it will save us money in the long term.
We also went to Mr T's today and then I've been at Beavers tonight. We were talking about strangers and what constitutes a safe or unsafe stranger. All the boys were adamant that an unsafe stranger would be wearing black and white stripes, have a mask, be a man and speak with a different accent .Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Dinosaur onesie - pfft!!!!
Beavers, bless, if only they were so easily identified!!
Memory - right Missy, tie a scarf around your steering wheel, wrist, somewhere you will see it all day until you make that call. You are the most important person in that house, not the least, without a healthy Lucky where would they all be
Hope Grandma is better today

Hello Lucky. You know, for someone who is 'unimportant' it is rather incredible just how much your families lives revolve around you. Unfortunately not in any ways you can see. I saw a sign once, that said, "No-one knows what it is that I do, until I stop doing it" and that is you. And all mums, matriarchs, looky-afterers
When you are weighing up the importance of whether you are worth a little gift, or me time, just sit back, imagine yourself out of the picture; see MiL flapping, trying to keep on top of DH's tantrums, onesie wantings, tattoos and the like. How many clubs, trips out, and special days would the boys get? Would their lunch cards be topped up? Who would remember the loo roll, and what is for dinner, and who doesn't like what this week...
And with that in mind, having read your post on DFW's thread... GET TO THE DOCTORS WOMAN! If not for you, how about for the 3 fellas whose day-to-day living depends on you being as well as you can be! If it is related to Aunt Flo, ramp up the iron. The best way to get it is through meat & fish, but if not, plant based is absorbed better with vitamin C. I am pretty sure the supermarkets do 'iron & vit c' tablets come to think of it. You're worth some own brand vitamins10% off maybe?
So glad Grandma is much better, shes a fighter
P.S I am not 'shouting' I am speaking loudly with lots of lovehearts

Thank you everyone for popping in, your words are very kind, particularly those by Lilt. You have got it spot on, and I can't argue with that!liltdiddylilt wrote: »When you are weighing up the importance of whether you are worth a little gift, or me time, just sit back, imagine yourself out of the picture; see MiL flapping, trying to keep on top of DH's tantrums, onesie wantings, tattoos and the like. I have tried the doctors several times today without success. I've had a mixture of engaged tone, recorded message that the surgery is closed for staff training until 2.30pm, more engaged tones and then when it did ring out no one answered!!!. Will try again tomorrow and if it's more of the same I'll drive to the surgery!!
DH get more of his tattoo done today (let's just gloss over that!) and I went for coffee at a friend's while he was there. Lovely to have a good chinwag.
Grandma got home today :j.
'Only' gained a pound at fat club tonight. I don't think that's half bad for a double birthday week :T.
Hope everyone is well XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
