I've had a lovely day so far. Yesterday's shopping trip with MiL obviously WAS present shopping, as I got my favouritist-ever-but-haven't-had-for-years-coz-I-can't-afford-it-perfume from DH and the boys! Thrilled! Feeling spoilt and luxurious today. I also got lots of cards (thoughts in envelopes, my favourite bit about birthdays!), a £30 gift card from 2 of my besties who had clubbed together :A, £10 from Grandma and £20 from Mum! Haven't seen my Sister or MiL yet (though I hope MiL hasn't got me anything as she obviously bank rolled my gift from DH and the boys - I've checked his tattoo fund and it's not depleted at all!!!!). I've done really well and I'm very grateful.

Tonight we are all going out for a meal (using a voucher DH and I were given for our anniversary in June!) and then the real birthday celebrations begin- DS1 is 10 tomorrow!!!!! Xx

Huge huge happy birthday wishes to you SNF Hope your meal is fantastic and how utterly lovely of both MiL & DH on the perfume score. Sometimes something as simple as a spritz of perfume can make you feel incredible

Meal out was very nice and it was Happy Hour :j. Voucher was for £40 and bill was £49! MiL and friend paid for theirs which meant ours was totally free :T. MiL gave me £40 and some flowers which was naughty of her, and she even wrote in the card that I absolutely HAVE to spend it on myself!! MiL's friend gave me some gorgeous soaps & bath bombs shaped like cakes etc. I've done so well.
