Fabulous news ......... DH is now in the Support Group :j:j Spoke to the most wonderful lady this morning and explained our whole situation. She said she completely disagreed with the At0s decision and overturned it immediately. She put him in the Support Group for the longest period she could, 3 years (backdated to last September), in the hope that if nothing has changed by then it will just be renewed for another 3 years at that point and so on. I'm so happy :j:j

Well done thats SO much to 'drop' off. I always think of it in butter. Look at how much 'butter' (fat!) you've lost and see what a massive achievment 4 pounds is.
How are the kids?
PS Love SparkyAlthough I am anything but good with electrics. (I shall tell you about my awful story one day).

Well done! :T
..Unfortunately, think I found most of what you lost this week.Brightspark87 wrote:PS Love Sparky Although I am anything but good with electrics. (I shall tell you about my awful story one day).
Isn't Sparky a person who sparkles (an electrician would be nicknamed "Sparks")?0 -
Well done Mr and Mrs Lucky! That is absolutely fabulous news for both of you!! I am so so pleased they finally made the right decision. Frame the confirmation letter as to the epic journey you've had to make to get it
Whilst it might not have any effect on benefits, or money/extras, just the stress of each interview will now be gone. So so happy for you!!0 -

Think you might be right! Although I seem to remember old Sparky is a nickname for something terrible in the USA!!

An electrician is a Sparky in Geordieland
.
Thank you Lifeforms! You are right about the interviews :T. DH is supposed to have one with the Job Centre next week and I'm hoping we can cancel it now, not least because it's half term and MiL will be on holiday so the kids would have to come with us!!
Today has been VERY up and down and I fear it's not over yet
Woke up and it was gorgeous and sunny so decided to do the 8 mile walk again instead of the gym. Tried on a pair of linen trousers from the back of the wardrobe which haven't fit for about 2 years and they fit perfectly :T.
Got about 4 miles into the walk (furthest point away from home!) and DH had waves of fear and felt sick. Turned to head home and I fell over . Put a massive hole in said linen trousers, took all the skin off my knee and hurt my hands where I tried to save myself
. Still in much pain, sob.
Got home and DH seemed better. Collected DS2 from nursery and had lunch. DH promised he felt fine so we decided to cut the hedge in the front garden as it was getting desperate and we are supposed to get storms from tomorrow. While he was using the (petrol) hedge trimmer, he started with the chewing movement  and I freaked out. We stopped the trimmer and sat him down on the lawn. Can you imagine a seizure involving machinery?! Infact, don't .
I finished hedges and again DH pulled round. He had a hair appointment late afternoon and still wanted to go , but actually he was fine. While we were there the trainee asked if she could practice blowdrying on me, so I got a wash and blowdry for free :T. Looks lovely and as it's smooth it's very different from my normal curls!
Tonight DH started 'chewing' again. Didn't go any further than that but I fear he will seizure at some point. I feel caught between a rock and a hard place as I could give him Clobazam now which may stop a seizure happening, but if it doesn't and he seizures within 6 hours I can't then give him the buccal which I know will stop it, and in that case it will be a 999 job.
