So nice of you all to pop in
.
Went to gym this morning. DH seems back on an even keel. Cross everything it stays that way!!
This afternoon we went to a soft play with some other Mums and kiddies from nursery. It was nice to have different company and feel almost normal :T £10 spent on getting in and having lunch.
Just a quick update today as I had a bad night's sleep last night and I'm shattered. DS2 woke up at 3am determined to start the day , he eventually settled in our bed but I was awake for most of the rest of the night. I was frightened to go downstairs to sleep after what happened last week!! Not sure why he woke up last night but I hope he goes back to sleeping through tonight!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Oh no! kids! My ds2 still does this every now and then, I honestly thought it would stop when he started school and was super tired from all the work during the day. He gets in my bed though and cuddles me and says "I woke up because I missed you so much" haha how could I say "get back to ya own bed" after thatMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. All those run-ins at the consultants were meant to be
Even if it is to help you feel more positive and give you both a little bit of hope. Always good
Well done on the weight loss :T
And fingers crossed for a good nights sleep tonight!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Drive by hugs for you PLMBL!
I hope you're having a good day today. SO glad to hear the consultant/epilepsy specialists are being proactive with hubby's drugs,. Fingers crossed you see some improvement.
Isn't it amazing how fast our little people grow up? I sit here astonished that in less than 3 months my jellytot will be 2. TWO?!? I cried all day when she was 1 hahaha!
Hate to say it but hubby's tattoo will likely make him want more. It is a very addictive thing unfortunately. I knew sincerely few people with just one, and dozens with arms and bodies and legs full... Mainly of things that have no meaning to them, but just because they wanted another one...
More hugs, and off I run!

Unfortunately Lilt it wasn't his first one! He did have one on the top of each arm years ago, and before his accident he expanded one to go right down his arm to his wrist. Then, one of his friends was learning tattooing and the daft s0d let him practice on him . He was 'adding' to the full sleeve but basically made a jaggy mess of it which DH had meant to get tidied up, but then he had his accident.
When he went to the tattooist to book in, the guy suggested 3 hours work to tidy it all up and maybe add a bit of aqua blue (it was all black and grey) to make it look better. We were under the impression that it would be finished then from what was said.
Fast forward to Tuesday, and after 2.5 hrs it's only half done. The blue on his forearm, whilst looking really good, makes the rest of his arm look unfinished (though it looks great with a shirt on and the sleeves rolled up to the elbow :rotfl:). He will have to go back at some point for sure.

Thank you for the well wishes Robin, DF(w), SBO, HAW and SA. They worked, DS2 slept through and therefore I had a much better night. Still woke twice for the loo, but that's the perils of being on a diet and eating lots of fruit and veg :rotfl:.
This morning DH and I had a meander round the Metro Centre. It was nice to spend some time together that didn't involve the gym or hospitals!! I still have some vouchers for New L00k, but didn't see anything I wanted in there, and the rest of the time we just window shopped. Total spend £3.60 in St@rbucks.
DH's CEA card arrived today so I can get in to the cinema for free in future as his carer :T
Sis has cancelled on me for tea tonight so we are just having a night off in front of the tv. Might do a bit of a cupboard/freezer inventory though so I can stock up incase of the dreaded white cold stuff! I've heard it's on it's way
Xx

Sounds like a good day all round :T
You know I'm the same if the kids actually do stay in their beds I am still up in the night going to the loo! I drink so much water & herbal tea so my own fault
Great news about the free cinema card! I love the cinema and hardly ever go because it's just too expensive at our local one.
Not going to mention that swear word s n o w. Will pretend I never heard it. I hate the stuff. Roll on SpringMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06.
