Sorry to hear about family rows, we had a mahoosive one in our family at the last funeral. People were being deleted as 'friends' off facebook and blocked and all sorts  A year on and noone is still speaking so I hope yours wasn't as bad
My ds2 is looking forward to starting school in September. I almost cried however when he had his stay and play today and think I will find it very hard to let him go in Septemberhe was the tiniest in his new class I hope he catches at least one of them up lol.

Ok so i think it's time I told you all my secret.
I'm a little over 6 weeks pregnant. It was a surprise (well more a learning curve actually - when the Dr says the antibiotics he prescribes for tonsillitis will mess up your pill, you should believe him!!! :rotfl:) but we are very happy about it.
We had decided to keep it a secret as long as possible after what happened last time, but MIL guessed on Tuesday. She was thrilled :j. Because MIL knew, I thought it only best that I tell my Mum. This was met by silence, followed by "OH plmbl ". She was not impressed at all and this made me both angry and upset. The next day I tackled it again with her, and she said things like she wanted better for me and she didn't want me to struggle as I had enough on my plate. I said that it IS what Iwant (what could be better than a baby?!), whilst I appreciate her concern I will cope, and it's on it's way now and I can't/don't want to send it back. As much as I love my Mum I don't see a lot of her, and she very very rarely has the boys for me etc. For that reason I feel annoyed at her reaction as it won't put her out any, however I don't know why I'm surprised as when I had the miscarriage she said "well you wouldn't have coped anyway".:mad:
I told my sister on wed and she is over the moon. (She also supported my side of the argument against Mum). I told the rest of the family today while we were all out together and I got hardly any reaction. My Grandma just said "look after yourself". Later my Uncle said congrats and said it had come across like I wasn't happy about the pregnancy, but I was just scared incase I got more reactions like my Mum's.
My Mum has been a bit more positive today. She says she wants me to have things like new clothes etc and not always go without, and with another mouth to feed that will only get worse. I said material things don't matter to me and a child means more. We are just different types of people as image and material possessions mean lots to her and nothing to me. She did say however that she will love the baby when it arrives and she hopes it all goes right this time.
Cross your fingers everyone! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Congrats PLMBL, I had an oops pregnancy with a ten year gap between my last two pregnancies but without a doubt it was the best thing to happen. Yes at times money and time where in short supply but I would give anything to go back to them times.
Give people time as your bump grows so will your support, i'm going to be a grandma in September and love seeing my son's girlfriend and her growing bump.

WHAT a good day to pop into your diary!!!!:j:j:j:j:j
HUGE congratulations on the baby news plmbl! I sincerely hope everything goes well for you this time. It made me chuckle when you said you're just over 6 weeks & couldn't keep the secret any longer! I didn't know until 7 weeks with my first pregnancy (that one didn't go well) and the second, from which I had my dearest Jellytot I thought I was clever when I guessed at 5 weeks. Haha!
As for your mum, if she is so interested in material things, let her buy them. That is precisely what we let our parents do for Jelly. I co-ordinate birthday & christmas to make sure that we are only buying the basics for the most part. Just let people know the things that the baby/boys need, if they are looking to 'treat' them.
A mum of 5, including 12 week old twin girls, told me last week that once you get past 2, more don't really make a difference, so don't you worry on any of it. You probably have all the basics, and you definitely have all the love this baby could want for; what's more important than that?!
So exciting!!!!!!!:T:T:T:T

Aw thanks for the positives guys, I really needed them!
Lilt I found out at 3 weeks 4 days!! My b00bies had been majorly sore, I kept crying at nothing, I was majorly tired and I couldn't get enough of coconut . So I took a test just to prove to myself I was over thinking things. I actually took 4 tests over 4 days and they all said yes, just progressively stronger :rotfl:.
I don't know about not noticing when you have more than 2  My sister has already said she thinks I'm having twins coz I have a bump already :eek::eek:
