Have read this thread with interest and whether people like it or not, Manicmum is doing nothing dodgy. She is claiming what she is legally entitled to, the benefit law say she is a single parent when her husband leaves the UK and as such she can claim single parent benefits until she joins him.

There is no point slating her, she didn't make the rules up. The system stinks but you all can do something about that rather than hound this poster. You anger and frustration is aimed at the wrong person.

Manicmum if want this thread to die, contact the MSE forum team and ask them to close the thread.
