Im also from NI and alot of people i know go to mainland to get a car.
However I had noticed that Wilsons of Rathkenny (think that is the spelling), always come up good in autotrader search.
I went to Wilsons auctions, and they are not that competitive, the reserve is too high - get your wee baby minded for the day and go over to mainland!Groceries challenge

"Servicing could be costly especially if they have DPF's."
What has the DPF got to do with the cost of a service, they don't touch it ???
As long as you use the right engine oil ( low SAPS ) and do regular motorway runs to get the right conditions for it to re-gen the DPF will not cause any problems at all.0 -

I don't think a lot of NI residents even bother re-registering do they? Is it even necessary any more?
Every fifth car in Belfast has a mainland number plate that I saw a few years back.0 -

No one to leave the baby with?
No one else to go look/get the car?
Why wait till now to think about changing the car?0 -

Unfortunately not, breastfed baby needing feeds every few hours put a limit to my adventures at the minute.
There is no one else that would be willing to go and bring a car back for me either.
Was hoping I would manage with the three door car until the next stage car seat but in reality it's too much of a pain in the a**e to have to climb in and out of the back all the time.0 -
Take the passenger seat out.0

Is this too good to be true? Is a stolen vCar a no no? If I could meet them at the ferry it would be doable, and pay them 80p per mile to get it that far.0
